Tentative Class times/Information for tomorrow’s jumper show!

We are so excited for our first schooling show of the summer tomorrow evening! Below you will find the necessary information for the show. Feel free to email Stacie (snichols@ccgsearch.com) with any other questions! 

-The first class (class no. 1) starts at 5:00pm. See show schedule here: 2014 show jumper series – June 18th 

Don’t forget you can also register the day of the show if you haven’t yet! 

-Depending on weather and arena conditions, if need be, we will move the course to the indoor

-Warm-up will be located in the stone-dust arena just outside of the indoor

-Attire is casual but should be neat and safe. Appropriate headgear and footwear required for all riders!

-Note: Cross-country jumps have been set in a nearby field, and schooling is available for an additional $15 if footing is suitable. Any rider schooling the XC field is required to wear a safety vest and have a ground person with them at all times.

Pearl finishes 2nd at Seneca Valley HT!

Congratulations to Glenda and ‘PL Irish Pearl’ for their 2nd place finish in the Training-Horse division, at the Seneca Valley Pony Club USEA Spring Horse Trials this past weekend! This was only Pearl’s second time competing at training-level! She is really doing well with the move-up and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for her!

Playland Riders & Horses, Weekend Show Results

Playland Farm couldn’t be more proud of their riders this weekend and the wonderful rides they had. At the Waredaca Starter Trial, Maya Kuntze and PL Irish Queen (“Queenie”) competed in the Beginner-Novice B division (her first competition since starting college two years ago) and finished in 4th! Aubrey Lowrey also competed PL Lucky’s Indy (“Indy”) in their first full Beginner Novice division together and finished in 6th place. Sofia Tamayo also did a great job competing Contessa in the Junior Elementary division and tied for 4th place.

At the Plantation Fields Horse Trials, Corinne Frankel rode her own, Excalibur (PL Calib) and placed 7th in the Junior Open Training division.

Openings for Consignment horses at Playland

Glenda Player and Playland Farm have a few openings in their barn for consignment horses! An avid fan of Irish horses, Glenda has sold most of her current sales horses and has people calling regularly looking for horses! Let Glenda help you find your horse a perfect new home!

Maryland Horse Trials Starter #3 Results

Congratulations to Lindsay Hall with Irish Indigo who was 8th in Junior Novice-A division, Aubrey Lowery who was 10th in Elementary-A with PL Lucky’s Indy, and Virginia Strench with Black Diamond who won the Junior Novice-A division at The Maryland Horse Trials Starter #3 this past weekend!
