Rocking Horse Horse Trials

Big CONGRATS to Glenda and “Alice” for completing their first Novice of the 2019 season. They were in the top 10 after dressage and stadium, but a few time penalties on cross country dropped them out of the ribbons. Glenda is already looking forward to the next show! And don’t forget that she’ll be home next week for more lessons!

Working Boarder Wanted!

Do you want to board at a top notch facility, but it’s not in the budget? Playland Equestrian Center is starting a new “working boarder” program where you will have the opportunity to work off part, or all, of your board!

Schedules are flexible, but availability during the day is needed. Job duties can include: stall cleaning, assisting with feeding and turnout, grooming for head trainer Glenda Player, and more. Your pay of $12/hour will be applied to your board–stall or field–at one of area’s premier facilities.

To apply, please contact Glenda Player at glendaplayer@gmail.com.

Results from The Maryland Horse Trials

Glenda took “Alice” over to The Maryland Horse Trials and had a good day to finish 9th in the Open Beginner Novice division. They were placed 2nd after the dressage, but a little green moment on cross country moved them down in the placings. But they’re already looking forward to their next show!

It was also fun to see homebred PL Lucky’s Empress with her owner Louisa Woodville finish 11th in the Training Rider division.
