Schedules are flexible, but availability during the day is needed. Job duties can include: stall cleaning, assisting with feeding and turnout, grooming for head trainer Glenda Player, and more. Your pay of $12/hour will be applied to your board–stall or field–at one of area’s premier facilities.

To apply, please contact Glenda Player at glendaplayer@gmail.com.

Results from The Maryland Horse Trials

Glenda took “Alice” over to The Maryland Horse Trials and had a good day to finish 9th in the Open Beginner Novice division. They were placed 2nd after the dressage, but a little green moment on cross country moved them down in the placings. But they’re already looking forward to their next show!

It was also fun to see homebred PL Lucky’s Empress with her owner Louisa Woodville finish 11th in the Training Rider division.

CONGRATS to Alexis & Izzy!

Izzy as a youngster

As you know we love getting updates on our Playland homebreds after they leave us. We were especially excited to see that “Izzy” (aka PL Diamond’s Inspiration) and her new person Alexis Larson WON their Novice 3-Day Event at the Spokane Sport Horse Farm Horse Trials. We can’t wait to see what these two do next!

Izzy is ready for her new home!! CHECK HER OUT!

Don’t forget about sweet Izzy for sale! She just went to her first off-the-farm clinic last week and was a star! Check out the Glenda Player YouTube Channel for this video and more of Izzy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xz3L3aCRfyI&feature=youtu.be
“Izzy” is a 4-year-old IDSH filly. Izzy is by PL Diamond Hill and out of PL Indy. She is a barn favorite and really coming into her own doing well at local schooling shows and clinics! She is under saddle at the w/t/c and jumping 2’6-2’9′ oxers (with ease!). She is a forward, brave ride to the jumps and has the scope for the upper-levels. She has also been doing gridwork and is proving to be a very careful jumper. She is brave on trails and hacks out quietly alone or in groups. Izzy is eager to please and loves attention. At her first dressage competition in 2015 she was both Champion and High Score in her division with a score of 71%. She is a quiet ride both in the arena and out in the fields.
She trailer loads, leads, lunges, stands for the farrier/vet, stands in cross-ties and does in-hand work. Izzy has a strong desire to please and is a quick learner! Her full siblings are currently competing in dressage and eventing with young riders and are doing very well. Izzy will make a great dressage, jumper or hunter prospect and is suitable for an amateur or professional. Izzy is still green and needs mileage but she has shown us that she is suitable enough for a skilled junior rider in a regular program as she is gentle. $12,500.(*Negotiable for the right home!*) Email glendaplayer@gmail.com for more info.
